Learn more about how our glasses can protect your eyes from harmful Blue Light rays
The electromagnetic spectrum is made up of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue light. Wavelengths are measured in nanometres, and the blue light goes from 380-500nm, being one of the shortest, highest-energy wavelengths on the spectrum.
It's estimated that 90% of our spare time is spent using digital devices. According to studies, people using digital devices for two or more hours reported symptoms such as:
Eye Strain and Headaches
Irritation and discomfort. Your eyes feel tired after staring at screens all day.
Neck and Shoulder Pain
Body in continuous tension caused by prolonged time in a stuck position.
Your tears aren't able to provide adequate lubrication for your eyes.
Your circadian rhythm is affected, melatonin secretion is reduced.
The Focucci difference
Our lenses filter high-energy visible light (HEV) emitted from digital devices. They block 100% of the Blue Light rays up to 410nm, 60% up to 430nm, 32% up to 450nm, 22% up to 480nm, and 14% up to 500nm.

What are the experts saying?
Blue light from a scientific point of view
"Blue light from digital devices and the sun transforms vital molecules in the eye's retina into cell killers. We are being exposed to blue light continuously, and the eye's cornea and lens cannot block or reflect it." Read more
"At night, light throws the body's biological clock—the circadian rhythm—out of whack. Sleep suffers. Worse, research shows that it may contribute to the causation of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity." Read more
"The spread of tablets and smartphones has undermined our relationship with the night. Light-sensitive cells in the back of the eye are particularly sensitive to blue light, which predominate in electronic screens." Read more
